Hey all I'm posting for a friend. The truck is a 99 with 185xxx miles bone stock besides a ts6 chip. This morning truck started to make a real bad grinding/growling noise from engine. Took the belt off still makes the noise. You can feel it most right at the top of the hpop. It only does it at idle or decel goes away on accel. My question is do you guys see these hpop bearings go bad often? The truck rubs perfect besides the bearing noise. I'm having a hard time believing its an hpop buts that's definitely where you can feel it most.
