Removing headlight switch mounting nut?

Hey guys, I just ran into a slight issue when going to replace my headlight switch. I can't figure out how to take off the mounting nut without stripping it, the biggest flat head screwdriver I have will wreck it. Any ideas??

Well, I just got it, its too wide, the bezel nut for the headlight switch is different than the other bezel nuts. Is this normal and what can I do now?
