Cant get my headlight switch out
Hello all I am replacing my headlight switch and I removed the ****/rod by pushing the release button but I can;'t get the old switch out. I turn it and it spins like it'screwed in but I can't see any screws. please help.

After you remove the ****, there should be a round metal bolt. It's doesn't look like a bolt, it has a round head with 2 slots, and it's hollow so the shaft goes straight through it. Twist it counterclockwise with a set of pliers, and it should unscrew from the headlight switch. If you still have trouble, I can go take a picture for you.

take a look at the new switch you will see the female threads exposed where the 'barrel nut'??? w/ the flat knotches are screws into, you may not be able to see the nut, sometimes the dash plastic covers it, if you are lucky you can insert a pair of thin needlenose pliers into the hole where you pulled the ****/post out of and unscrew the switch from the nut, I am not sure if I am providing the correct terms for the items, but when you look at the new one you can see where it is attached

Upon closer inspection I found the bolt. Thanks for your help guys they sure know how to disguise those don't they lol. I got my new switch in and the lights are all running great. Thanks again
