I am new here., Where would I ask a specific question about a 1987 F600 fuel pump?

 

What do you need to know? I work on 2 ton fords every day and can probably awnser your question.

 

Truck running fine down the road - driver ran out of fuel in one tank -switched tanks too late - engine sputtered and died - fuel filter clogged with rust. Changed fuel filter and truck started right away but now won't rev over about 1500 RPMs. ?????? what does it sound like?

 

Sounds like you may have a carb jets that got clogged. Does it run bad on both tanks?

 

have f-600 370-2v need to know how power is routed on this dump to the electric fuel pump does not pump with key on but works intermittenly when cranking. dont have acess to schematic, i believe it runs through sendin unit on oil but there are 3 wires red w tracer, and 2 other red ones.
need to know if electric pump works ore not, i do not see plug or conector to check if i have voltage at pump?
