Question of the Week: Raptor V6 to SVT Explorer?

For our newest Question of the Week, we want to know if you think that the 450hp EcoBoost V6 from the 2017 Raptor F150 should be used to create a new SVT Explorer?

Should this SVT tuned EcoBoost be featured in what is essentially a higher performance Explorer Sport, or should the Raptor engine be reserved for the SVT pickup?

Share your thoughts in the thread below!

As an owner of a 2014 Explorer Sport (wife's), I have no idea how you would manage torque steer! It's a handful stock with 365hp.

Bettery Torque vectoring... but yeah, the challenge is Explorer currently focuses most of its efforts to FWD.

Hennessy makes a pretty sweet expedition. I'll be looking forward to see what they pull out of these motors.

Why would you ask about creating an SVT Explorer in an F-150 forum?

If it was the older style from a few years ago yeah, but with this newer one no thank you. Rather it be in an Expedition. Better yet, BRONCO!

Incorrect Sir. It's a Ford Truck web site, but this is the 2015+ F-150 forum.

I don't know what your problem is. This site is who posted the question. Take it up with site administration not me. I just simply respond to their question.
