I didn't see many cool options for blacked out emblems, I restore Victorian furniture and use auto paints all the time so I decided to use this new flat black I bought recently. I used a really light 600 grit on the entire front and edges and them washed then in soap and water and damp dried.

Looks great! My F350 for some odd reason has the chrome looking like I dug a screwdriver across them....I assume it's just the chrome peeling I don't know. I was gonna plastidip mine but I like the paint you did, wonder how well it will stick?
