rolling coal
I have a 04 f250 6.0 with a sinister EGR delete and a SCT tuner. I was wondering just for the he** of it, what would I need to do on the programmer to get it to roll some coal every once in a while if I wanted? Is there something in the tuner I need to adjust?

Put a hot tune in it. Stab the throttle and enjoy.

You could always grab a pillow and stuff it in your filter box...

Put the meanest tune on and put the pedal to the metal.
If you go crazy with it prepare for a gasket job.
Also, is your cat still on?
However, rolling coal is frowned upon. Gives the hobby a bad image and gets the politicians on our case.
Cheers,
Nate

How about you don't so that we don't have the rag-brained EPA busybodies

Please don't feel flamed for asking this and we all can do what we want, regardless of what others think. I don't want to be the smog police here, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention to you that those of us that use tuners sensibly will eventually be under the microscope because of those who draw attention to the use of tuners. Like I said, you can do what you want, but just know that by bellowing out huge smoke in the public's eye, you are hurting your diesel-head brothers.

OP, It's a free country, (Well used to be) and you can do what you want to your truck.
That said, coal rollers make me want to kick babies and punch grandmas.
5 heaping cups of Bauxite sand in the oil will make lots of smoke.

Why? Who cares? There is a time and a place for it. I laugh at everybody that takes the high and mighty attitude...

Going back about 45 years ago, burning rubber was the cool way of showing off; I was too frugal (meaning poor) to waste tires that way.
I do wish I could return to way back then, BUT with todays assets.
