My AOD or Something else?
I am putting a AOD behind a 302 into my 54 Ford F100 with the stock rear.
I am in the process of finishing it up, but when I take it around the block for test ride it runs good for a while. Soon though it doesnt roll as smoothly as if there is some kind of resistance. For example When I pull it into the driveway after the ride, and put it in neutral it doesnt roll backward. After an hour when I went out put it in Neutral it rolled backward.
Do you think its the tranny, rear end or brakes? Any simple way to eliminate one or the other?
