headlights burning out

i have a 2010 Ford f-250 sd and i have an issue with my headlights..i put on the Silverstars headlight bulbs..when i switch from low beam to high beam..i hear a clicking noise under passenger side dash and then either one of the bulbs will burn out...I installed the LED lights on there but the ballasts were not working good so we took them off and went back to the silverstars..not long after i keep blowing my headlight bulbs..would anyone know what is going on..we put the LED's on the highbeam section and i am blowing the high beam section of the bulbs...really appreciate any help ya can give me...

This probably isn't your problem, but make sure you are not touching the bulbs with you bare hand when installing them. The bulbs are very sensitive and oil from your hands will cause the bulbs to fail.
