what is it??
on my truck i have 2 parts that look like cats on the exhaust......i know for a fact the 1st one is. what could the 2nd one be?....did ford put 2 cats on their trucks in 1990?

Hey there 19903024X4! Long name! Only kidiing!! HEE HEE! Do you have the single exhaust, and is the second parts farther back near the axle? If it is, it's just a resonator. Something else to rust out I guess. I removed mine. Well, it fell off and I never bought another. If it's up beside the catalitic converter, then yes, there are two. Even though you only may have one 02 sensor. You can check it out in your manual. Yes, you spent the 17.00 on the manual, didn't you...... Well, you may as well now if you haven't. How important is that air hose and do I need to hook mine back up? Only worried about performance....not emisions.
