i have found the switch on the firewall, it was down so i pulled it thinking that that would solve my problem.it didn't, so i pulled the fuel filter back off, and turned the key and no fuel coming out of the line. the pump has been replaced.next step!i got a noid to test the injectors, should this be my next step?
1990 2 tanks,if you have duals check the switching valve they have been know to jam or just fail, if this is the case where would this switch be?the one one on the dash or somewhere else.i found a switch on the firewall,[black with a red push button] is this related to the fuel tanks?

Yes it is. This switch shuts off the fuel pumps in the event of a colision or sudden impact. Make sure the button is pushed in if it is out you will not get any power to your fuel pumps.
You don't need a Noid Light - just a 12V test light or a multimeter. The Haynes manual goes thru the tests step-by-step and shows you where & how to hook it up.
thanks ,
if i pulled the filter off, and turned the key on shouldn't there be fuel coming out of the line from the tank?i tried this[i got a cheap fuel pump,a gallon of gas and a spare battery] took the fuel line off and hooked up to this fuel pump with a line coming out of the gas can.so with this pump i would be pumping straight to the engine. i have tried this and still nothing!
geterdone needs to geterdone !!!!!!!!!
