Shift Lever Issue
Good morning.
The 3spdOD in my '65 works fine and is getting smoother to shift now that it's getting broken in and lubricated.
The problem is with the slop in the column shift while in second gear. The lever will move until it's practically in the 1:00 position but will move back to the normal position without coming out of gear. The truck otherwise shifts and acts normally with no evidence of binding between first and second gear.
