Not sure on this one
2003 6.0 with 104,000 miles hive or take a little. New heads, oem gaskets, Arp studs, oil cooler, valve covers, Cat coolant and filter system, im sure there is something else but you kinda understand I tried to do it right.... Was driving home yesterday truck began to cough and gag and eventually died. Waited till it sat about 5 minutes, started up and we drove off only to do it about 10 more times... Ended up i had a boot tore after inspecting but i pulled the codes, 0263,0264, 0284,0341. Truck seems to run fine now, however up on start up she puffs grayish smoke around the turbo and out the exhaust.... Hoping just a clamp on the turbo, maybe dropped injectors?????

check ficm voltage at koeo, cold start and driving down the road. the p0264 is a result of the p0263. verify that all 3 ficm plugs are fully seated. P0263 is a loose connection between the ficm and injector #2 (front drivers side), injector coil open circuit (verify against another injector by ohming terminals), ficm logic board (rare), ficm power supply falling below 45 volts. don't worry about the 0341, it is triggered by frequent cranking to get home. Clear the codes and see what comes back. Might have a problem with injector #8 over fueling with the p0284.
