5 speed trans question
Here's a question I haven't seen yet. What 5 speed transmitions are used in later (ie; 97 and newer) model Ford 150 trucks and are they compatable with earlier model trucks, say my 93 for instance?

In 97 , The M5OD & the ZF were still being used . In 2000 , I see the manual trans is now called the MSOD . I didnt check to see when this name change occured , I just did a random look see .

5 speed trans question
Will this new trans work in my 93, will it adapt to the 5.0 and the B/W transfer case? A newer style trans may have less problems than the M5OD I have now. It has 300 thousnd km on it now and is getting cranky shifting. SR.
