Cab corner question
I was thinking of filling my F-6 COE rear cab corners with foam to keep debris from falling down there. Any thoughts?

I agree. Bad idea. Get yourself a shop vac and tape a small diameter tube to the hose.

Did that. Just thinking of eliminating a repetitive task. Didn't think moisture would be an issue, wouldn't the space become air tight?

Ford put foam in the bedsides above the wheel wells on the super duty. Look how that turned out.

Cab Corners
I was glad that someone asked this question & others had responded. I was thinking of using the foam, but wondered if it would be moisture free. Apparently it isn't. Thanks for not letting me make that mistake. psmith1951

PO did that
My 51 cab was foamed down in the corners. My corners are rusted thru. I agree, moisture was the cause. Of course, the old girl did come from the upper Michigan and North Dakota before that.

Just one of the things you learn not to do after cutting out enough rusted panels. VW even made that mistake in the 60's.

Thoughts on the rubberized undercoater in a spray can for the cab corners, and what is a good sound deadener for the cab panels and roof?
