Do you use Tow hooks or Shackles? Poll
I know this seems like a strange question, but does anyone still mount tow hooks on their rigs? I have a heavy duty set of tow hooks from the rear of an old school bus and I'm not sure if I should make the effort to mount them on my new bumpers. I already have heavy duty pins in the front bumper and I am adding the dual receiver tubes in the rear bumper.
The built in pins of the bumper.
The rear bumper isn't finished but here are the partially completed pics of the receivers and where the pins are also in the rear bumper.
So I am asking everyone out there if I should try and mount the tow hooks or not? Please share your thoughts, opinions, and experiences?

Come on. Am I the only one who has driven a tight trail to a stranded Chebby and had to pull it out backwards hooked to the front of the Bronco? You should always have recovery points on both ends so you can pull out your stuck friends.
