Area for maintenance write-ups?
I know that we have a very small tech thread, but do we have any particular area for the vans where we have threads for maintenance or upgrade write-ups?
I haven't seen anything for doing the timing chain replacement so I thought about doing a thread for that if it was't done already. I just figured I would offer it up since I have to do mine anyways, and I know that it would've helped me a lot since I haven't found the Haynes repair manual at any of the local parts shops.
If I can muster up some motivation I'll probably start doing the actual work on wednesday, but I'm not sure when I'll finish since I'll be playing a juggling act with money to finish it.

Most likely the info you're seeking can be found in area-specific sub-forums here, for example the Modular Motors forums for the timing chain issues.
Because some drive train parts and systems are common across similar years its a bit easier to post questions in the matching forum. Most of what's in our Tech Folder is directed more to the van body and chassis, at least those areas where there are distinctions that need to be pointed out or further explained.
