no blower fan
Hey guys need a bit of help here. During my build phase I had to redo alof of harnesses, now my blwoer fan doesnt work. All connections seem to be ok, but-im not ruling out I dindt cross one of the wires. Basicaly the brown/whi wire going to the function selectro switch has 12v with key on, thats good. But I am getting nothing at the orange/black or brown/orange wires at the 6 point connection under the glove box, and with it connected nothing at the blower motor. Apart from having 12 v at the function selectro switch I dont know what else to trouble shoot. There is something going on at the fan speed switch. CAn you guys lend a hand in helping me diagnose this? I am pretty dumb when it comes to wiring.
heres the schematic:

Well if you ain't got power on the brown/orange wire then you have a problem at the function selector switch, not the fan speed switch.
First go find the pinout diagram for that function switch and make sure you have the brown/white wire terminated to the right pin in the connector. Then if you have a schematic that shows the internal contacts you can use an ohmmeter to test the switch for continuity.

unfortunately I dont have a pinout diagram, and the part stores dont have the diagram either.
I have looking at the back of the function switch, as it is installed, the top is purple, then brown/white, then brown/orange, then brown/white again. Ill get a pic for you later tonight. Thanks for your insight.
I am sure i just boogered which which goes where in my setup, as the switches were fine before and the wire supplying power(brown/white) does have keyed 12v.
thanks
