Wiring T-connector
I've spent hours, searching for a T-connector for my 99 F-250 SD.
I want the kind that connects inline with the factory tow wiring-the plug and crawl around under the truck type, so I can connect some external LED marker lights.
I already have the job finished but want a connector for future projects.
I've looked at Curt, Hopkins and Pollak, with no result.
My truck had an add-on 5th wheel, cobbled up, wire harness attached with the dreaded Scotchloks, one of which failed.
I had a friend replace the bad one with a Posi-Tap connector.
I spent too much time looking for the bad connection and after heart surgery, I called him to find the problem. He crawled out from under the truck, with neck pain, too, so it's not just an old fart issue.
