I have replaced all the interior lights in the Truck except for the dome/Map lights and the glove box lights. The one in the glove box is o nthe top and behind a black shield. which covers 2 sides.. the bulb is wedged into the socket and i cant get a grip on it or have had any luck with other ideas about getting it out. Anyh ideas or tricks would be great.
With te Dome/Map lights.. Holy crap i wanted to **** my self when i saw what i tlooked l,ike up there.. The bulbs are held in facing upwards and are in a plastic "cage " looking thing.. And there arent any wires up ther ejust a thin like circuitry witch looked liek the inside oa a compouter. sSo any help here would alsp be great.. Thanks
Did you figure out how to remove the map light lamps? They twist out with about a quarter turn.
When I recently replaced mine, the auto parts store had the wrong lamp referenced. Thet sold me #168 lamps which are smaller and DIM. Later I matched up to Wagner #922 which are same size and quire bright. My only problem is that one of the new lamps burned out within a week. Maybe I have a bigger problem. Please post reply if you find a different replacement lamp number.
