i checked my fuel pressure today and it was only at 27-30 psi at idle. i then took it for a test drive while looking at the gauge. at WOT i was getting maybe 10 psi. So my first thought was the tank filters might be gunked up. I went further and disconnected the line from the tank to the fuel pump. And ran a fuel line from the pump to a 5 gal can. started the truck and the same result happened. Is there any way i can make for sure its the fuel pump? or is there something else on the fuel bowl that i should check first. thanks yall!

Open pressure side, blow air back, and look for chunks. Hook the pressure side back up, use your bucket to supply the pump, open the fuel bowl drain into a container, and measure the flow. This will completely bypass any clogging or regulator questions.
When was your last fuel filter change? Any fuel mods?

When the plastic pickup foot in the tank starts crumbling and falling apart, or if you get trash-contaminated fuel, it can create pluggage in the top bend of the suction tubing right on top of the tank, and the fuel flow can go to "almost no flow" conditions quite easily.
