Man oh man... After 205k fairly trouble free miles (engine rebuild at 130k), my '99 Expy is putting me through the ringer!!!
Latest fiasco was a flashing "theft" light that left us stranded waaaaay out of town... Now after sitting 2 weeks with the battery dead, the truck fires right up... During the initial investigation I ran across info that "something" ECU? ECM? can be flashed/software recoded to eliminate the PATS query... There was a member who offered this service... Now I can't find the info... Possibly it was on the F150 forum too...
Does anybody know ???
For info on the specifics of the no-start flashing theft light fiasco, details are here...
