Wiper blade size?

May be silly but......
so I got new wipers and got 20" ones as that's what the book at wally world called for. Put them on and seems to cover the same track as the old ones but they just look tiny. Wonder if I could go longer?

Run 24" ones on the Excursion no problem. Cover the whole windshield and work great.

I get mine from Costco, $10 each and work great. And they'll take anything back if there are problems

I've heard it's possible to run 26 inch blades but have yet to try. Anyone else tried this? Do they hit the weatherstripping at all?

My last set were 26". They don't hit the weatherstripping, but are very close.

I just recently bought just one blade, but I got it at a local auto parts store (not a chain one) and it was less than four bucks. Might be worth a try if you have a privately owned one near you.

Just remember that in the summer you buy the cheap ones because the bugs eat them up. At least they do in my part of the country.

True--that's why I sprung for a bit better ones--the bugs are just as crazy here.
Worst i ever seen in AR was driving between jonesboro and batesville one summer--it was solid bugs all the way to the hills.

Eastern AR with all the flooded rice fields in the delta can get bad just before dark. It can sound like rain. Also I have 22" blades on mine and will switch to at least 24" when these go bad
