Tyler, that's exactly the type of insight I was looking for. It sounds like two trips to the body shop might be best. First trip for rough body work, cab mods like adding shoulder belt perches, and painting the cab underside/firewall. Second trip after the body and chassis are back together for final bodywork and paint.

I am going to agree with Tyler's recommendation. It is not possible to do too much fit up before color.

yeah, Rob, I think its really an essential step that I wish we had taken. I can show you some scratches etc that would not have happened had we done it this way. For us, this was a case of "experience is something you get right after you need it" So hopefully you can benefit from our mistake. That said, our truck came out great and we love it. Tyler
