sloppy dizzy

sloppy dizzy
I have a 1988 351w. Im trying to put a HEI small cap distributor in it. I bought one. But wher it seats the block its sloppy the hole is 1 9/16" the dizzy is 1.550 this makes no sense why is this differant? And is there something i could do to fix this?

If you have a 351 Windsor why are you asking on the 335 series forum? We deal with 351 M's & C's, as well as the might 400.
