Master Cylinder Pushrod
Im replacing hydroboost and master cylinder and I cannot for the life of me get the master cylinder pushrod (which must be reused) out of the hydroboost unit. There is a spring, retainer and pushrod that I cannot get to release. Help please!

I have had to resort to removing the cylinder/plunger in a master cylinder and cutting the piston in a few places to break it so get the rod. Can you remove the plunger from the hydroboost? They are not concerned about the plunger as it will be replaced with new one during a rebuild.

Well after fooling with it for a half an hour, posting and worring about breaking it I finally put pliars on it and just pulled the whole thing out.. The spring is held with soring retainer that just presses on the inside bore of the hydroboost. Looks deceiving...These are the things one must go through that doesn't work on these everyday...LOL
