Another Brake Thread......
1993 F250 5.8l 5 speed
1. I have replaced the entire brake system except, rear hard lines and booster.
2. I have 3-4 inches of brake travel before my brake lights come on.
3. I have changed out the micro switch at the brake pedal.
4. I have adjusted my push rod from the brake booster.
5. Rear brakes have been adjusted according to manual and this forum.
6. I can stop the truck without ever activating my brake lights. I don't mean starting to stop 1000 yards away, I mean almost like normal braking.
Kind of out of ideas here except booster replacement. To tell if the booster is bad, would I hear a whoosh sound in the cab or under the hood? Not sure if what I am hearing is normal compression sound or leaking booster.
Thanks
