This is my first post. I just found this forum last night and joined today. I have a 2005 f350 4x4 dually. I bought my Truck new and have done most repairs myself, and yes I have had my share of 6.0 issue everything from the eatc not always working to the blown stc. Sure wish I would have found this site 9 years ago. Just wanted to say hi to everyone
Jeff.

Hi Jeff and welcome to FTE and the 6.0 Forum -- both the best Ford Forum AND the best 6.0 forum in the universe!

Hang on and enjoy the ride -- this place gets more posts than just about the rest of FTE (no, I can't prove that or even think that it's true, sometimes it just seems that way )

Welcome Jeff, This site has a great group of guys and gals and some great techs that give freely of their time and knowledge. The only regret that you may have coming here is that "The Group" will show you how to spend all of your free and not so free cash.

There are other gauges. Better or not is personal opinion.

User friendly, cost, design, number of PID's that can be read, number that can be simultaneously displayed, extra features (alarms, back up cameras, maintenance logs, etc). Each member probably has a preference.

Most important is the fact you have something and recognize it's worth as an owner of a 6.0L. Just look at the number of questions from guys who don't and who ask the same questions about noises, and engine revs, and starts and stops, and no starts, and shut downs, and on and on.
Ask them if they have gauges or any vaules ... no response, until they post again about the latest sputter, or no start, or shut down and on and on ..... very frustrating. Rant off. Glad you're here. Enjoy the forum.

Ain't that the truth, haha.

Start a post saying that you're going to be in doing headstuds and ask what do people recommend while you're in there ..... $15,000 later and you don't even have a penny left to buy a furry dice
