Ordered up my general electric part number 6014 sealed beam headlights. I ordered 2, only one showed. After closer inspection, it appears that the filament is not dead center. Are there left / right bulbs? I am gonna flip if this is the case. Freakin google blows!!!!!!! Aftermarket this, chinese that (my truck is currently sporting a pair of these chinese quality retrofit fandagled new style bulbs). Why the hell can't I get some freakin OE headlights?
ALL automakers single round 12V headlamp bulbs (6012/6014) are the same R & L
Most auto parts stores will have these bulbs, so there is no reason to order, then pay shipping charges from outside sources.
Ford and most other automakers (excepting some GM vehicles) went to the 12V system in 1956. Cattle-hack/Oldsmopile have the 12V system beginning in 1952.
btw: 1956/57 & 1961/76 Ford trucks used the 6012 bulb.

Wow dude you are wound up tight, I mean really tight.
I do not recall any threads started by you regarding headlights. If there was you would've got the message like N.D. gave you and you'd be calmer.
Remember this is a family show.
Now back to you in the studio.
I ordered a set of Ford script halogens from DC, they work fine but not really necessary - 6012 has been replaced by 6014 but just about any parts store should carry them. At one time a very common part across makes and models!
