My 66 352 has a single groove pulley which nothing can be attached to it. I would like to put a later FE balancer on (which repros are available) so I can later add power steering. Will this affect anything?
My 66 352 has a single groove pulley which nothing can be attached to it. I would like to put a later FE balancer so I can add P/S You have been misinformed or are unaware that both these balancers use a similar setup.
1965/67 & 1968/76 FE harmonic balancers contain a single sheave pulley.
Ford offered accessory outer single, double and triple sheave pulleys that bolt to the balancer to add P/S and/or AC
1960/67 FoMoCo Passenger Car 352/390/410/428 (except HiPo's) & 1965/67 F100/350 352. Outer pulleys bolt to the balancer with 3 bolts.

(sigh) Geez Louise, 289/302/351C/351M/400/429/460 and etc etc use this same method of attaching outer accessory pulleys to their harmonic balancers to add P/S & A/C
