It's only a one-speed kit. A Mark VIII fan should be two-speeds. Therefore you would need two temp switches unless you opted to run only hi or only low.

I thought the Mk VIII fan was a two speed fan. If so this kit appears to only provide one speed.
There are some Lincoln fans with a single speed... signified by only two wires at the fan plug. A two-speed fan would have three wires - hi, lo, and ground.
Since I don't tow anything nor live in a hot area (WA), I think I will be fine with it running on low only. If it gets hot I will wire up the high speed with another relay and sensor. I have three wires on my fan so I know I have the two speed. Thanks guys.
