Help me spend some money...
So among other things, my 73 Highboy needs new headers. The ones that are rotting off of it now are some old hooker's or hedmans. I am looking at Hedman Elites, Sanderson shorties (if they will work for my application), or Maddog fenderwell exits. If anyone has installed any of these on a Highboy I would like to know about quality issues, starter interference or fitment issues. Any ideas for mufflers if I go with the fenderwell exit?

FF390s are for cars. You want Sanderson FF427 for truck applications. Headers pics provided (scroll through because they are also shown installed).

Mufflers are too subjective. You pick.. round or oval case?

The link to the FF427: The Sanderson FF427 header set is designed to fit 1953-Up Ford F100 pickups using the Ford 332-428 FE engines.
They'll fit on a Highboy... no problem. It'd be up to you to make it fit the rest of the chassis.
