If I can Find my em, I've got pics of it Floating Across ponds looking like a Blender Sterin things up. It's settin on Almost Bald 38.5-14-15 Ground Hawgs for now, Waitin to get my hands on a set of 39.5 TSL boggers to really livin things up.
Tex, I currently own a chevy blazer with a 350 in it. Your statement that we won't even look at anything else is obviously invalid and presumptous. I have owned several chevies and dodges in the past. As Wiz said, I am wide awake, and experience has proven to me that the chiv 350 sucks compared to the Ford 351w or c. I wouldn't put a mopar 318 in a Ferrari either, although the 318 isn't a a bad engine, its not as good as the product it would be going in. Its that simple. This probably isn't the place to be touting cheby engines over Fords.

I am truly a ford guy at heart. they are good trucks. but i have also been around some other nice and not so nice truck before and yes there are good chevs and dodges out there. but the absolute worse thing that can be done to any vehicle is to transplant an engine from another make
keep the ford ford
keep the chevs all chevy
and keep the dodges entirely dodge
Its funny that my buddy that has a Chevy dogs me and my buddy (Dodge man) for our choices. While were modifying and playing around with ours his is in the shop. Not upgrading for making it cool. Just making it run. But then again his 87 PU with the 6.2 Detroit Knockin Diesel isn't a winner anyways. I have 33's on my stock 302 and he had 33's on his mostly stock (exaughst system added) 6.2. I could eat him up on hills using 3rd. Though he said he always let me. The black smoke from his tailpipe gave a different story though. Now my PSD, well thats another story.
Ahhhh, that got some good replies. I personally love my Ford PU but Monday I was not very enthusiastic about it. It quit on me on my way back to work after lunch. Ended up taking a 2 hour lunch so we could tow the darn thing home. well, we've replaced the coil (no luck there) and now the ignition module (which seems to have been the problem) Anyway, as much as I love my Ford I don't have a problem with any other make as long as they run!
