Someone else bought the truck, and the purple Explorer is still available, but I don't have the money yet. Won't get my first benefit check until the 13th of May, and they did not award me any back pay. So after the check arrives, we will appeal that decision. My attorney wants to get me at least one year of back pay. Since she does not get paid if I get none. They claim I was not disabled right after the accident, but became disabled in November of last year. I am guessing the only reason for that is because that is when my VA primary doctor acknowledged it in writing. Also when I asked for a new knee brace since the old one was worn out. They have a record of them giving me the brace, but the old one was bought at a Rite-Aid store by me, so no paper trail. Same with the cane, and the powered wheel chair. Bought by me, and not supplied by the VA.
Anyway, if I cannot get any back pay, it will take close to a year before I can save enough money to get a vehicle. Unless I buy one that needs work, like a 94 Explorer on CL for $600 that the owner states there is no power going to the fuel pump. It also has a caved in front bumper, but no damage to the grille, so I am thinking the inertia switch needs to be reset. Simple fix, and I would have a 4x4 Explorer for $600. Can always get a bumper at a local junkyard.
I want to find a 89-92 Ranger that is setup like the one I found in Bakersfield, but they don't come along every day. So, I figure I can use the Explorer until I find one, then sell it to offset the cost.
Wow, that Terex is the mot unreliable truck I have ever heard of. and I would guess the repair bills are not cheap either.

Tell me about it! It must be Swedens version of a Dodge product, because Dodges & I don't get along. LOL!
It was fixed yesterday, so I was able to work. The mechanic said it was loose hose connections. Go figure!
I don't know which one you are going to but if it's the one off Craig/Lamb then there is nothing older than 2 dentsides as far as the trucks go. That is, if you are going to one in Vegas. Dave and I went on Sunday.
Still searching for horn button assembly and passenger fender for mine.
One of these days I will head over to Pahrump where I hear there are several guys with hoarding like collections.

They always tell me that they can't control what they get. It's higher ups that determine that. Although, if you want an entire vehicle they can put in a request.
