Okay so my degas puked a few times. Under the egr valve is wet. I have a scanguage2 that I constantly keep an eye on between water temp and oil temp. They are always within 5-8* from each other once warmed up. If i run the truck hot the biggest difference might be 10-11* max. So i guess i don't know if I'm dealing with a bad egr cooler or head studs or both.
If it's wet under the egr valve you have a busted egr cooler. I would try not to run it until it's repaired. Its easy to turn this situation from a couple hundred dollar fix to a couple thousand dollar fix.
If the largest difference is 10-11°, I probably wouldn't replace the oil cooler. Make sure you are determining the difference correctly though. A good test is flat driving, unloaded, engine completely up to temp, after 15 minutes traveling @ 65mph.

What he said. I just finished a delete due to puking. Had the hunch it was egr cooler but no wetness for me--just puke. Luckily for me it was just that. No puke since egr cooler is now out and all is well.
