New to the site...although, I've had F-150s in the past......a buddy recommended joining after I just picked up an 03 Excursion. I grew up here, moved to Michigan to work for Ford in Dearborn, and have since moved back to to Georgia. Glad to be back!
Looking forward to chatting with you all!
My Ford collection...my wife says I have a problem!!
My wife says I have a problem too but usually it has nothing to do with my trucks!! I told her last week I wanted to take up Kart racing when I get back, she thinks I'm nuts. I could never imagine living in Michigan. Welcome back to the south!
Chief, you will need to check out Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville, they have a great track I heard, and rent Karts. Had a customer tell me he went with co-workers, and had a blast.
Bob,
I have looked at AMP and the Georgia Sprint Kart track in Barnesville. I found these guys: GSKA AMP looks to have an awesome track and is closer to the house.
Thanks! Don't miss the snow and cold at all! My wife and I were in shock the first year we moved up there...back in 2000. We got like 20" of snow in December and were in SHOCK.......she had a 92 Camaro and I had a 96 Cobra lol. We were like uhhh, what do we do? Needless to say, I bought a big snow thrower soon after!
Yeah, don't ever move there. I mean, some people up there love the snow and outdoors...they snow ski, and snowboard and ride snow mobiles. Heck even ice fishing. But not for me. We are beach bums...we like warm climates...so winter really became about hibernating inside... waiting desperately for Spring. We did get used to taking trips to Florida and Carribean and such during winter... so that was nice.
