fuel injection problems

Okay..1986 F250 5.0 motor 2 years old (former 1994 roller cam with 1986 intae on it to be compatibile)..changed out the computer, IAC, plugs, wires, and distributor. Engine is still doing mighty strange things like reving up to 2000 up starting and can't do anything but shut it down. Then it starts to run correctly and then stalls out. Changed fuel filter also. Wondering about the throttle body if could swap it our for a mustang BBK 65mm.EEC was a 1987 Mustang 5.0 when got the truck and it ran great (motor is an ho cam so the firing order is like a 5.8). any more suggestions like going to a 65mm and swapout the EGR to the correct size as well?

What is the computer telling you? Have you read the codes? Are you running a 86 computer or a 1994 computer and wiring?

You should have at least one code if everything is normal.

tied the problem down to the old original throttle body...changing it out now.
