Hard Torque Converter Lock/Unlock
2000 F150, 5.4, 4x4, auto trans
I disconnected my battery to clean my terminals and after taking it for a drive afterwords on the highway when i lef off the gas to cost, i can feel a jerk and it feels like the truck is using engine braking but it doesnt go out of overdrive. When i hit the gas again it jerks once more. I can only guess this is the torque converters doing. This has happened before when ive disconnected the battery, but last time i just disconnected the battery again for a few minutes and the problem went away. Its being more stubborn this time. Any possible solutions? Ever happened to any of you all?
