Yes, it was *smart* buying a rack that could be transferred to a new Super Duty easily, lol.

My insurance rates did go up slightly for plowing. Workers comp policy goes up substantially if there is snowplowing done by employees, so I'm limiting plowing to just me for now. The crew can focus just on mowing and landscaping.

Speaking of car insurance. My rates have steadily been jumping up over the last three years in georgia. All the companies i have shopped around to eiether claim its "georgia insirance rates are going up" or "its the rising cost of healthcare." Got the bill again this year with the guy i switched to last year, went up over $400 for my 4 trucks. Shopping around again. I thought with no wrecks and no tickets, and as your vehicle aged, rates went down??? Im almost paying double now what i was when i was when i was 25. I had 4 vehciles on that policy as well, one was a 3500 drw dodge, that was near 9 years ago.

Antone else seeing this?

Here in MA, our rates are set and non competitive so we can't/don't bother to price shop.

Yep, the best you can hope for is a small bundle discount with your homeowners or something similar but coverages are pretty much price locked from company to company.

Yes!

I use an independent agent out of Montana. They do a real nice job of proactively shopping my policy to get a better price. My 24 year old son got slammed this year for car insurance since he is no longer on my policy. He had a minor accident on his record, he's unmarried and his car is 3 years old. The company we were with wanted over $2,000 for just him. The agent out of Montana was able to soften that a bit but it was still a shock to my son.

My rates for my truck have been pretty flat for years now. Was a bit higher when I still had the beater car, but even then I was right around 1k a year. Rv hasn't changed a bit over 3 years. Homeowners has floated within a $100 range in the 10 years we've had the house. We have everything with State Farm. Currently working on switching agents as our original retired and we got sent to another guy. I gave him a chance but he's a moron.

How about that new 2019 RAM 12" center screen? I'm a big fan of hard buttons but something about that thing has me taking more and more repeat looks.... The dial shifter **** on the other hand is just awful IMO...

It will be another year or more before we see the implementation on the HD products. Based on what I've seen so far, I'm very hopeful for the Ram redesign.

The real interesting thing will be the powertrain changes. Lots of rumors at the moment and I'm hoping some of the Engine / Transmission rumors pan out (new transmissions and potentially an EGR free Cummins).

We'll see. Its a good time to be a truck buyer with new trucks from all 3 makers, 3 different light duty half ton diesels and more attention to detail to interiors.
