Today is the day........
LOL! It always looks more peaceful in pictures! I can relate though...trust me. We have two monsters plus a not-quite-a-monster-but-a-teenager-with-an-attitude.
Well, got half way there today. Got the SXS locked in. Heading up to NH to pick it up on Sat. I almost had the dump trailer situation sorted at a dealer right near the Polaris dealer. Luckily my feet dragging and over analysis combined with torturing poor Tony by text for days paid off right as I was about to drop the deposit. With a 6' wide dump, it would be awful hard to open the doors on a 62.5" wide SXS to get out once loaded. Very close call as obviously, I would have paid for and picked up the trailer before the General. Man, would I have been upset. Back to the drawing board...
So, where it stands now is I have three options. I get that little Aluma utility trailer which has 24" sides that are removable for loading. It's overpriced for what it is and is very one dimensional. I'd likely regret it when we start clearing, building, etc. The second option is I sent Cargo Max an email to see if they could build my spec aluminum dump trailer wider. Another brand does 7' so I"m guessing they could too. Last option, and Maryann's personal favorite, is back to the Bwise ultimate in 16'. Future-proof, expensive, but easy resale. Anyways, I am pretty ticked that I don't have the both things settled. Then again, I'm pretty glad Tony saved my **** before I bought a narrow trailer that would require me to be a Duke Boy to get in and out of my General! See what I did there?

Just stop fighting it. When the wife says to buy the best dump out there, you oblige. Just order one in silver and black and call it done!
Yeah, I already have the two tone picked out. Silver hammertone on the box and black hammertone on the frame. At least the resale will be good when we're done with it. Used ones seem to fly off the shelf. I will get it de-rated to 14500 to keep under the 26001 DL cutoff. Looks like over 10k, I'll need a med cert in MA. $75 every two years. It's amazing that I'll need it for my dump but my RV is just fine.
