Like puting a square peg in a round hole.
I ok last weekend as we installed the body lift i installed a new rear gas tank. I thought it would just fall into place withthe bed off. Wrong! I guses Ford designed the last two crossmembers on an angle thats wider at the bottom than the top. To get the oold tank out we were not gentle. We finally ended up using a big digging bar to fold it in hlf. T get the new tank in we had to bend the weled seams flush with the side of the tank. and slowwly work it in.
So lust fo further reference the rear tank will not just drop into place from the top.
