Im getting ready to do my cooler. I don't really understand how the system works and have scrolled through this forum until crosseyed I would like to weld mine closed also. Do I just weld the coolant inlet closed or coolant and exhaust? If I go this route, is that all I need to do? Do I leave the valve plugged in? Will I see a CEL light and need a tuner to clear?

Weld the exhaust inlet and outlet.

Leave the valve plugged in.
