need some help

ok here's the problem. i have an '84 Ford F-150 V6 and like most trucks that aren't that new, it's carbeurated. i needed a tune up so we took it in. we got it back and the guy comes up and says, "i don't know that much about carbuerators, but i tweaked it a little bit so it won't idle so high." well we got it back home and it had to idle up to 0. and it wouldn't stay running. i need to know where the idle screw is and how to set the idle back up a bit.

Is it a v6 or an inline six? I thought they stopped putting v6's in in 83?
