I am new to the site and haven't seen any newer posts on this topic. I am having the same issues many others have had Withe the climate controls. We have the EATC and it is either full blast or not functioning at all. Air , generally, will blow when on exterior but the fan cannot be adjusted. The temperature is fine and doesn't seem to have any problems raising or lowering. Has anyone figured this out officially yet? Need to replace the EATC, Heater Blower Controller, Climate Module,.........? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I just wanted to add my two cents here, I had the same basic problem on my 2007 Expedition with the auto climate control. Upon start up. The fan blower was on high and did not respond to the control to turn it down. After watching the video, I ordered the 9L3Z-19E624B control module. Part retails at Ford for $160... I'm sure its cheaper other places...
Install was awkward but do able. 8MM socket and dropping the glove box down helped a lot. The old control looks original, it lasted 109k miles. New part looks different. 4 Heat sinks vs. 3 on the old one. Enjoy some pictures...
