New to the board and a first time diesel owner..
Early '99 f250 sd 4x4 lariat, ext cab short bed..
Already did some minor repairs and mods. Which leaves me to the question.
Driving/fog lights factory or after market on early '99??? I have old brackets no lights or wiring harness but my headlight switch has a push/pull function along with the turning motion for lights... Thanks

You will have to use after market Fog lamps. And, the Switch will not activate anything. The Push/Pull mode was not active until 2000 MY and later.
However, a Relay and some wiring will allow them to become active when the Headlamps are on.
I high-beam every idiot driver that has them on when it's not foggy (unless they're being led/tailed by "innocent" drivers). The brand new Dodge (Sorry "RAM") pickups have FOG lights that are brighter than the low beams and factory-aimed to be just as blinding as high beams.
Great thanks for all your help.. All though now I understand they are driving lights, fog would be nice or even a LED light bar to fit in the opening for 2 tracking here I'm Michigan... One way or the other love the forum been helpful to read how other people concure there problems with they have...and of course if the on coming lights are to bright flash'em ... Gotta love bright lights and slow people, old green likes to roll with out slow'n down
Once again thanks I'll keep reading and asking
