Thanks Guys! Sadly, 3 weeks I've only put 300 miles on her. Monday I hope to put some Fluid Film under her and possibly do a 1000 mile trip end of next week. Don't want to expose it to too much salt on these NE roads.

Can you post where and how $ the Fluid Film application was.
There's an installer somewhat nearby but I can get to RI nearly as fast and would rather go someplace I've heard feedback about directly.

I'll let you know buddy. (fingers crossed) It will be done Monday night.
4.30s I think would really wake this thing up but 10mpg empty scares me.
That's a really nice looking truck. I would have gotten that color combination if the XLT came with a two tone option.
I am getting 12 in town and 15 on the highway with mine with the 4.30 gears. I only have about 3500 miles on it, and the mileage seems to continue creeping upward. I am certain that the 4.30 gears make a noticeable seat of the pants difference when compared to the 3.73s.
I am looking forward to towing with mine for the first time in a couple of weeks. Nothing huge, but the 5k TT through the mountains here in Colorado should be a good first tow.

The place is in Wakefield, RI. I only had to buy a gallon because his shop already had the gun. Took him about 1.5hrs in total and only used 1/2 a gallon. I watched him apply it and he went over everything! Took extra time on the cab corners and holes and crevices. Think the gallon was shy of $50 with tax, then his fee for labor which wasn't a lot. Its cheap enough I will have no issue gladly paying for it once a year. If you are serious and its close enough to you PM and I'll get you in touch with him.

Thanks for the feedback, that sounds very reasonable knowing that FF should be an annual process.
Wakefields about 2hrs from me so farther than I'd like to go.
I'll look locally and PM you if I need the contact info.
How's the smell etc?
Curious as I've heard mixed things about that.
