Well, boys and girls, I think the time has come for me to sell my parts collection. It's been way too long that I've had them and don't have the propert time to pay attention to selling them. Plus, I'm tired of looking at them (and so is my wife). I need the outside space back, as well as the space in my garage. I could rent a storage, but then I'm paying a monthly fee and will be behind the 8 ball.
So any interested parties??? There are a few small pieces and heaters (promised to Denny) that I will keep and the rest 90% will go. It all has to go in one lot.
There is a guy in Fresno who makes a living selling F100 parts, he advertises on all the normal sites. If he sees any of your ads I am sure that he would be interested in a "lot" sale. There is a local guy (Escondido) who also buys and sells F100 parts but he is not as close as the Fresno guy.
What! Sell out?
Just put up the big umbrella and sit in the shade awhile. You'll feel better tomorrow...
Just messin with you.
I know you've been thinking about this for quite some time, and i can understand where you are at with all "the parts"
I wish you luck and hope you get a fair price for all your parts.
Speaking of parts, did you still want that 51 52 ribbed rear bumper for a panel? If not i'll find it a home somewhere as ive got to clear out some space here too.
You have a lot of time, effort, and money tied up in your collection, I hope you do well with the sale. I would also like to thank you for the couple hard to find parts you have provided me over the years.
The sky isn't falling...yet. I went out last month and acquired an indoor (read climate controlled) 10x15 storage in a brand new storage building facility not too far away from my house. I have already moved all of the parts that I had stored on the side of my house into the storage. I still have several racks inside the garage to move.
Now I have a home away from home where I can dedicate the time to selling the parts. The storage isn't cheap, but it's affordable. I look at it as a business expense now. For years and years I didn't have any overhead until now when it became necessary.
