Ford vs. Competition Forum

When's that Forum going to be reopened? Is it posted somewhere and I'm missing it?

I too just noticed that it was closed. I am sure that they have their reasons. Abuse is the stated reason,and I got to thinking... at another forum i saw, there is an abuse forum, where you are supposed to go for the flame wars and personal attacks. that is a dangerous idea, but it they seemed to make it work where i saw it.

We don't know yet.
Maybe,maybe not.

It seems that no matter how many times we ask people to post Technical information which is what is supposed to be there, we always seem get numerous people that just can't discipline themselves to keep from making emotional comment.

My personal feeling about that forum is the number of people that make rude and childish remarks about other makes and their owners.
These comments seem to attract a multiude of (Other make ) people to FTE and stir things up.
This is why I don't like to see people ridicule each other.

I would think that the people on FTE would like to demonstrate the positive things about Ford's rather than Put Down the others.

All this done in a techincal way.

Myself, I respect all vehicles of any producer,as each one has been made possible through research and development, and to me that commands respect.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I only like Fords cuz my dad liked Fords, so I fell in love with 'em like he did. So I think either way it'll be hard to have a Forum like that where people don't use emotion......If my dad loved Dodge, I would probably be on a Dodge site right now, if my dad loved Chevy, I'd probably change my last name....J/K! I do see what you mean.
Wonder how y'all can open it and not get heated forums...
