They should fit, at the most you may have to use a cable tie to pull the wheel well liner back just a bit, but since they are a hair under 33" and lots of folks here run 33"s you should be fine.

I think I would have rather dealt with interior issues like yours than the underhood fire damage like mine! Look on the bright side- you can still drive down the road with bad seats and headliner. I have to stare at mine and dream of the day I can actually start it!

Congrats...
Was that a dog that went Doberman inside or a goat. Good Lord.

You will love the excursion.

Before getting carried away with scheduled this or that...as those things cost money...Something that doesn't cost money is finding out about the engine noise. Obviously make you have oil in crankcase then look at the exhaust first. If you are lucky that is where your problem is. Does the sound change even in the slightest when warmed up?

Good luck and again, congrats

it does seem to change depending on the temp outside and once the engine warms up, thats why im leaning towards the exhaust leak im going to try and check it all out next weekend unless i can get somef free time this week.

Im hoping its something to do with the exhaust, im waiting till i know for sure what the sound is before i order parts for the exhaust (Thorley headers) or w/e else i need, seeing how this is my daily driver i can have it sit for a few days but not weeks seeing how it takes forever to get things shipped to me.

I really needed new tires since all four are pretty bad shape and since i was goint to be spending around 1k on tires alone i thought i might as well get some wheels, where i only paid 650$ for a set of 5

im going to focus on the engine tick, regular maintance, and go ahead and do an x/b swab soon, called the junk yard and he is supposably charging 25$ per leaf set so ill see once i get over there this wed or thur, hopefully he doesnt try and change his mind once i have them in hand.

No luck today at the junk yard not even one f250/350 to look at. I did see a few later model f250 but I didn't think those would work plus they were all rusted out pretty bad. X/b swap might have to wait

It should wait. Get that engine noise confirmation.
Ride quality means zero if you have no go power. They all sit nice while not running. Ha ha

So today i added some lucas engine oil treatment, which is the only automotive treatment i like to use for oils and fuel. After letting it sit for a few min then starting it back up i hurd a significant change in sound with the knockin/sputtering sound of the engine. I could still here what sounds like an exhaust leak but the knocking sound was almost gone if not there at all. Im going to go ahead and do an engine flush along with the oil change tomorrw and see what results i can get, i will also do the Sea Foam for the fuel and emesions stuff after this.

The reason i think i might have a gunked up engine is bc im thinking the last owner did not maintian oil changes, let this sit too long in the cold, or most likely was the very small about of driving she did over the past 4 yrs. From the 4yrs she had it by comparing the tach reading is around 15k miles. Im hopeing this will at least help the situation if not fix it or possibly tell me that a more major problem is there, If this doesnt work im thinking more along the lines of doing the timing chain tentionor and guid kit for the engine and cleaning and inspecting the valvtrain once the valvle covers are off, really hopeing not to have to do that but that might be the next step if tomorrow doesnt fix the problem. Any info would help thanks.

I have always hurd that doing and engine flush with ATF fluid works out pretty good, any other recomendations on engine flush treatment would be helpfull thanks for the help.

so turns out i was right about the rotors being warped, got them turned and back to new, barely had to go .004 to get them flat. Did an engine flush and changed the oil with improvements, but still got the exhaust flutter for sure and i will change oil again next weekend to start the regualr oil change routine and also got the tires mounted on the wheels, lug should be in today and i might be able to get some free time to get them installed later this afternoon. pics to come. Also got some X/B leafs coming on the ferry on the 23rd keep ya updated when those arrive as well, along with my new TT.

Those wheels looks sharp!

I've been trying to get rid of something I would qualify as "exhaust flutter" and I can't seem to track it down very well.

For me it sounds like a snare drum type of rattle. Not sure what you're dealing with but one source of that type of noise is the transmission inspection cover plate.

The cover plate is made of crappy tin and has a tendency to rattle/vibrate at certain engine RPM. You can try to bend it so it sits "better" against the transmission

Yes, That inspection plate can give a pretty good rattle, it comes off easily to check if that stops the noise, then if the noise does go away with the cover you just give it a little bend prior to reinstalling it. Some others have had a rattle/flutter noise that was caused by loose heat shields on the Y pipe assembly, either removal or a big hose clamp usually takes care of that one.

For an idea of what those new tires will look like with a modded X/B spring swap like mine take a look at my signature pic, those are 32" Conti's in the pic vs your new 32.75 Nitto Terras.

Yup got the same little rattle going on at low idle for the exhaust but im almost positive iv got an exhaust leak as well, i ordered the 5 star y pipe replacemanet should be here soon and will most likely do a stock studs and nuts replacement for exhaust manifolds along with fixing the rattling heat shields.

And im not going as tall as your sig pic there WE3ZS but i will be pretty happy with what im planning on doing, hoping it comes out what i picture in my head.
