I'm about to take delivery of a preowned F-150, and I want to get a creeper. My last one broke after sustaining minor garage trauma (that is, if you define being run over by a Hummer "minor").
I've seen ads for the Bone creeper, and am interested, especially for the 5" wheels which should go over most anything they'll find on my garage floor. Has anyone had any experience with it, good or bad? I'd like to get some opinions before I drop a c-note on another creeper.
Hi, the bone style creeper is the best thing they have made in years. I work as a heavy duty mechanic and have had one for about 3 years. They are durable, the big wheels are great, they go over air lines, extention cords and rough areas with little or no trouble. I would by another one. Ozzie
I don't have one but would sure like to. Got a "normal" one as a gift. Unfortunately, about the only people I know around here with them are the DOT's when I get stopped in my semi. That's all they use. Unfortunately, it can be bad news when they get rollin around on them (under your truck)!
Thanks for the advice, guys...I bought one off eBay, and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. Getting under a vehicle is *soooo* much easier with a decent creeper.
